This may be another one of those skewed perspectives of mine, honestly.
I mean, I hate to disagree with somebody who's telling me how brilliant I am, but I've never even _seen_ Un Chien Andalou and have seen that shot excerpted or parodied at least three times (once on The Simpsons, even), so it feels like common film nerd knowledge to me. :)
I'm long winded. Getting my thoughts down to a punchier, more digestible form is an ongoing goal, and one I practice with varying degrees of success in comments to other people's blogs. But this is my house, and here I can stretch out on the couch.
